Stephen Williams, HSE chief inspector of construction, to become director of field operations for 2012 Games
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has announced its chief inspector of construction will be taking up the newly created post of director of field operations (London) and the Olympics.
Stephen Williams will lead the health and safety regulation of the 2012 Games including the construction phase, and head up the London field operations division.
Williams became HSE’s chief inspector of construction in 2005. He will continue in this role until the post is filled.
