Half-day NHBC courses will tell housebuilders the difference between NHBC and HBF customer satisfaction surveys
The National House Building Council (NHBC) has launched a seminar on customer satisfaction for builders and developers.
The half-day customer satisfaction seminar will help builders and developers understand the differences between the NHBC and House Builders Federation (HBF) annual customer satisfaction surveys, and aims to give advice on how to improve customer service.
The surveys are conducted among new homebuyers to highlight successes and areas for improvement. The survey by the HBF is conducted 8-12 weeks after legal completion, whereas the survey by NHBC is conducted nine months after. HBF results are published, whereas NHBC results are only disclosed to the builders.
Rob Lockey, NHBC training services manager, said: "With the current, strong industry focus on customer satisfaction and service, we think this will be a timely and positive way for builders to understand what these two surveys are telling them. They will then be in a better position to deliver satisfied customers.”
Seminars will run across the country throughout November. For more information please contact Louise Heal on 0870 241 4323 or at training@nhbc.co.uk.
