Alpha Heating Innovation’s FlowSmart hot water system has been added to the BRE’s SAP Appendix Q list, which allows the energy performance of new technologies and advanced versions of existing technologies to be evaluated for SAP assessments

The FlowSmart system is an alternative to a traditional boiler and unvented hot water cylinder system in a home with several bathrooms. It comprises a SEDBUK Band A-rated combi boiler plus, a GasSaver flue gas heat recovery unit and a small thermal store of either 25 or 50 litres.

FlowSmart is capable of delivering 18 litres of hot water per minute, for up to 30 minutes.
