Consultant project manager on irrigation master plan for Al Ain and Abu Dhabi's Nation Towers
Consultant Hill International has won two new contracts in the UAE.
The Al Ain Municipality has employed Hill to provide project management services on the £82.6m implementation of an irrigation master plan for Al Ain. The five-year contract has an estimated value to Hill of approximately £3.2m.
The new irrigation networks is critical to the improvement of Al Ain’s water infrastructure and will serve the municipality and the surrounding region’s proposed reservoirs until the year 2020.
The consultant has also received a contract from International Capital Trading LLC to provide project management services on the construction of Nation Towers, a mixed-use development in Abu Dhabi. The four-year contract has an estimated value to Hill of approximately £4.9m.
The scheme includes two skyscrapers, a 65-story hotel tower and a 52-story residential tower. A retail podium fronts the Abu Dhabi Corniche which is curved architecturally and the whole site is surrounded by landscaping with water attractions.
