Firm will work as project and construction manager on various re-building projects
Consultant Hill International has announced three new contract wins in Iraq. The firm will provide project and construction management services for various clients with a total estimated value to Hill of approximately £9.5m ($15m).
They include a contract from the Iraqi Ministry of Construction and Housing to provide project management services for multiple projects throughout Iraq.
Additionally, Hill will work with the Iraqi Political Prisoners Foundation to provide project management services for the 4,000-unit Al Ahrar housing development in Baghdad.
Finally, the firm has signed a contract with the Governate of Baghdad to work on the sewage treatment program in the Al Jisr region of Baghdad.
Mohammed Al Rais, senior vice president and managing director (Middle East) for Hill’s project management group, said: “Rebuilding Iraq’s facilities and infrastructure is the first step in rebuilding its economy.”
