Hill appoints new head of Manchester office

Consultant Hill International has appointed Andrew Glover as executive director and head of its Manchester office.

Glover has almost 40 years experience in construction and engineering focusing on the commercial and contractual aspects, specialising in quantum and delay analysis and acting as expert witness on a wide range of construction projects, including giving evidence in both arbitration and litigation.

With a degree in civil engineering, he worked in both the private and public sectors before joining a contracting company and moving from the engineering side of the business into the role of QS.

In 1993, Glover moved into the consulting arena, providing both pre and post contract advice to clients acting for employers, contractors, major subcontractors, insurers and construction professionals.

He has worked on a wide range of civil engineering, building, engineering, power and process projects.
