The Irish government is this week expected to give the go-ahead to a 50,000-seat stadium at Lansdowne Road, Dublin, costing €250m (£172m). The design, by Arup Sports UK, allows the spiritual home of Irish rugby and soccer to host traditional Gaelic football and hurling matches. Arup will act as project manager.
