Property division boost full year results after investing £27m in schemes
Developer and contractor Henry Boot has reported a 35% rise in profit to £40.8m in its full year results.
The company’s results for the year to 31 December 2006 also show a 41% rise in turnover to £142.3m from £101.2m in 2005.
The company was boosted by the success of the firm’s property division, which invested £27m in the development of schemes during the year.
Chairman John Reis said: “We have continued to invest in all our business streams but in particular in the land promotion and development portfolios creating future profitable opportunities.”
