Regeneration specialist to deliver record number of commercial schemes
Henry Boot is gearing up to deliver a record £500m of commercial schemes over the next four years.
The regeneration specialist - which this morning posted a 14% jump in pre-tax profit to £32.4m in 2015, up from £28.3m the previous year - said it was preparing to start work on a dozen commercial projects across the North, 90% of which are already pre-sold and pre-let.
Chairman Jamie Boot said: “The degree to which we have already achieved pre-lets, pre-sales and planning permissions gives us great confidence in our ability to deliver these schemes profitably and we are fully focussed on this.”
Henry Boot produced good results across its housing and construction divisions. The firm’s construction division was boosted by strong performance from plant hire and steady income from a PFI project.
During the year John Sutcliffe took over as chief executive of Henry Boot, while Jamie Boot stepped up to chairman.
