Aermec has launched the VXT geothermic heat pump, which can provide heating, cooling and domestic hot water needs for residential applications in a single unit

Suitable for meeting the demands of the Code for Sustainable Homes, the VXT R410A heat pump can, claims the company, cut energy demand by 50%.

According to the company, the thermal output of the VXT is up to six times more efficient than a conventional boiler and does not require an external gas supply, rooftop cooling towers or dry coolers.

The unit is also designed for solar panel integration.
