The head of environmental policy at the Homes and Communities Agency is leaving to take up a post at Stoke-on-Trent council

Jane Forshaw will become head of environmental services in Stoke on 17 August after spending just less than two years with the HCA. She was appointed to the post at English Partnerships before it was subsumed into the HCA in December last year.

Most recently, Forshaw led the £11.85m low-carbon infrastructure initiative, to link seven schemes to low-carbon energy sources. Control of the programmes will transfer to HCA regional directors. Forshaw’s successor will be named after the body restructures in the autumn.
