Two old campuses will be merged into one, with new four-storey concrete-framed building
HBG has been awarded a £47.5m contract for a campus redevelopment at West Herts College in Watford.
The new development will merge the college's two old campuses into one and will involve the construction of a three- and four-storey concrete-framed building.
The scheme will be completed in two phases, the first ending with the handover of the new building in April 2010. This will be followed by demolition of the remaining buildings, construction of car parks and final landscaping, all due for completion by March 2011.
Architect on the scheme will be Weedon Partnership, and project manager Watts Group, structural engineer BDP and quantity surveyor AYH will also be involved in the development.
