Office of Fair Trading visited recruitment giant last month over possible breaches of competition law
Recruitment giant Hays is being investigated by the Office of Fair Trading in connection with possible breaches of competition law.
Hays has confirmed that it was visited by the OFT last month as part of an investigation into the construction recruitment sector. The firm said that the OFT probe relates to a small part of Hays’ construction and property business.
In a statement, Hays said: “Hays is co-operating fully with the OFT under the OFT’s leniency programme and the Board believes that any financial impact of the matters under investigation will not be material to the Group.”
