Pavi Binning joins materials specialist from telecommunications firm

Hanson has hired Pavi Binning as its financial director from telecommunication specialist telent.

Binning will start his role in the new year when he will also join Hanson’s board. He joined telent, formerly Marconi, where he was the chief financial officer and a board director and helped restructure the company’s balance sheet.

Previous roles have included corporate and financial positions at drinks company Diageo.

Mike Welton, chairman of Hanson. said: “Pavi will make an excellent contribution to Hanson,” said. “We are fortunate to have been able to choose from some very high quality candidates.”
