British Gypsum has launched a water-resistant plasterboard called Glasroc H Tilebacker
The company says that the board can be used in areas of high moisture and is suitable for educational buildings. The firm adds that the non-combustible glass-reinforced gypsum board is suitable for use in shower enclosures, bathrooms and swimming pool halls and adjacent areas. The boards have a pre-primed yellow face suitable for direct tiling, with a white gypsum reverse side. The company says the board has a thermal conductivity of 0.30W/mK and conforms to EN 15283-1.
