RIBA teams up with the Green Register to run workshops on effective and green housing refurbishment
Sustainability group the Green Register is starting a series of training courses to provide up-to-date knowledge and expertise on green housing refurbishment.
The group has teamed up with RIBA South West and Wessex to run training courses designed to provide all the information construction professionals will need to advise their clients on sustainable refurbishment of their homes.
Participants in the course will be registered on The Green Register’s website under a new ‘Accredited Refurbisher’ listing, designed to easily identify them to new clients. The first course takes place next week, on 24 June in Bristol.
Jon Watkins, head of RIBA South West, said: “The Green Register provides an essential service to the construction industry with its dedicated approach to the promotion of sustainable construction practices across the UK."
"RIBA South West recommends the activities provided by TGR for large or small projects, where there is a genuine desire to work better with the environment.”
