Construction has begun on Tietgens Ærgrelse, a housing development in Copenhagen designed by London practice Tony Fretton Architects

The 1,100m2 building completes the historic district of Frederiksstaden, initiated in 1749 but never finished. The structural engineer is HaCaFro and project manager is Københavns Byggestyring. The building is expected to be completed in spring 2010.
