Name of new minister expected to be announced later today as will responsibilities of other ministers
Ongoing discussions are being held at the department for business, enterprise & regulatory reform (BERR) over which responsibilities should be doled out to ministers.
A source said: "There is a meeting going on just now, between senior ministers and officials to thrash out who gets what. We had really expected to hear by now who would be construction minister but apparently it was all put back by Mandelson's illness yesterday.”
An announcement is expected to be made later today.
