Communities and Local Government Department produces TV package to coincide with yesterday's introduction of energy performance certificates

Government minister Iain Wright fronts a newly launched video on the launch of energy performance certificates. In his introduction Wright says that EPCs offer a "real opportunity" for the emissions of existing buildings to be tackled. "We have to take actions now," he says.

The video also reveals that Eland House, the headquarters for the CLG department in Victoria, received a C rating for its EPC.
