LOM Architecture scheme to finish in 2017
Work is set to start on a scheme by London practice LOM Architecture to build a new head office for the National Bank of Oman in the country’s capital Muscat.
The 49,000sq m building has been inspired by Oman’s wadi gorges and is due to be completed in 2017.
It will be built opposite Muscat’s Grand Mosque and as well as office space, the building includes a boardroom suite, archiving facility, main vault, roof terrace, underground staff car parking, cafeteria and data centre.
