Work to start in new year
Glenn Howells has won planning for an office development in the centre of Manchester.
It will stand at 125 Deansgate, between the city centre and Spinningfields, forming a key part of the wider redevelopment of Brazenose Street and Lincoln Square.
The scheme will contain 10,000sq m of office space and two shops.
Dav Bansal, a director at Glenn Howells Architects which also designed the city’s One Peter’s Square offices, said: “The scheme is in a great location as a key marker to the growing commercial district of Spinningfields and strengthening its connection to Manchester’s civic quarter.
“We are delighted with the support from the city’s planning team for this ambitious project and look forward to now delivering it over the coming years.”
Work is due to start on site in the new year.
