Richard Quincey joins Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) as technical director.
Gifford boss Richard Quincey is to join software outfit Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) as technical director: sustainability initiatives.
In his new role Quincey, who also had a stint at Max Fordham Associates, will advise on all aspectos of commercial and domestic low-energy. Quincey said: "This role offers me the opportunity to really pursue my thinking on how to go about designing sustainable buildings.”
Dr Don McLean, Founder and Managing Director of IES added: “Richard lives and breathes the sustainable strategies that are at the heart of IES’s business, and it is with excitement that we welcome another leading green-thinker to the IES team. Richard’s passion for low-energy sustainable buildings extends even to his own house, where he employed the to optimise simple and affordable holistic strategies to minimise the carbon footprint of the building.
