Pascall + Watson has unveiled this design for Dublin Airport’s £407m second terminal.

The three-storey, 75,000m2 building will handle 15 million passengers a year and have 9,000m2 of retail and catering space. It will incorporate the only facility in Europe that allows transatlantic passengers to clear US customs before departure. The project is scheduled to start in 2009. Arup is the engineer and project manager, alongside Mace.
