Atkins has won an international competition with this landmark design for a scheme in the port city of Tianjin, China.

The 356 m main tower of the TEDA development contains a 400-room five-star hotel and a series of wintergardens that spiral up the towers, creating the illusion of glowing lanterns in the sky. It is due to be completed in 2009.
