Firm to build 14 schemes including £17m One Housing Group job
Contractor and housebuilder Galliford Try has won a basket of contracts in its social housing construction business worth £56m.
The firm said the division, known as its partnerships business, had been selected preferred bidder by One Housing Group for the £17.8 million Batavia Road scheme in London, creating 114 homes.
In addition the firm said the division had won a further 13 contracts in the South West, North West and North East to deliver a further 13 affordable housing projects. These will involve building 392 new homes across the country in contracts worth a combined £38.5 million.
Galliford Try chief executive Greg Fitzgerald said: “Our Partnerships business continues to perform strongly across the country, cementing our position as a leading contractor in the affordable housing sector. We look forward to working with One Housing Group and our other partners to deliver the quality homes that their customers deserve.”
