Housebuilder seals £32m deal on NHS Fife Public Private Partnership contract
Galliford Try has sealed the deal on a £32m contract to build and operate a new hospital in St Andrews, Fife.
The housebuilder said it had achieved financial close on the Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract for NHS Fife.
Morrison Construction, part of Galliford Try’s building division, will carry out the building work and Morrison Facilities Services the post construction services.
The new hospital and health centre will include GP practices, in-patient, out-patient, dental and social work services.
Work is due to start in December this year and is expected to complete in June 2009.
Greg Fitzgerald, Galliford Try chief executive, said: “The financial close of this project underlines Galliford Try's position as a leading PPP player in the health sector across the UK.
“We look forward to working with NHS Fife to deliver a modern, high quality healthcare service for the community.”
