East Homes appoints Galliford Try to deliver affordable housing contract in Barking
East Homes has awarded Galliford Try a £10.75m contract to deliver affordable apartment housing in Barking.
The apartment complex will comprise 93 mixed tenure affordable housing units on Axe Street.
The units will be constructed using an RC frame and Speediwall, a lightweight concrete partition walling system for non load bearing walls. Communal roof gardens will provide an outdoor recreation area for residents.
Work starts immediately and is expected to finish in June 2008.
