Contractor will improve sewage works for Northumbrian Water
Galliford Try has won a £33m contract to improve a sewage treatment works for Northumbrian Water.
The housebuilding and construction group will build an advanced anaerobic digestion plant at the Howdon sewage treatment works in Newcastle.
The project will be delivered in partnership with Imtech Process and is due to be completed by September 2012.
