Work on the redevelopment of Finchley Memorial Hospital will start in October
Galliford Try has reached financial close on a £26m LIFT deal to redevelop Finchley Memorial Hospital in north London.
The project will be carried out in two phases and under the first phase Galliford Try will build the new hospital next to the site of the current hospital building.
The second phase will involve the decant and demolition of the existing hospital followed by landscaping of the site.
Galliford Try Chief Executive, Greg Fitzgerald, said: “The health sector is one of the range of markets in which Galliford Try has a strong presence. We are delighted to add this significant project to our track record of working in partnerships under LIFT frameworks.”
Work will start in October with completion of the first phase due in July 2012, and completion of the second phase in July 2013.
