Contractor to build two London schools at Islington and Finchley
Galliford Try has won two academy construction projects in the UK capital worth a total of £38m.
The contractor will build a new City of London academy in Islington worth £23m. Construction is due to complete in autumn 2011.
It has also won the contract to build £15m teaching, sports and administration facilities at the Wren Academy in north Finchley.
Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive of Galliford Try, said: “These contracts follow our recently completed multi-school private finance initiative projects and maintain our strength in this important market.”
