Development in Bedford will include 230 apartments, a village hall and leisure facilities
Galliford Try’s regeneration business, Galliford Try Partnerships, has been appointed to build a £44m retirement village in Wixams, Bedford.
The 230-apartment project for client the ExtraCare Charitable Trust includes a village hall, library and IT suite, bar and bistro, fitness gym, hairdressing and beauty salon and shop.
It is the tenth project the division has worked on for the client, with scehemes at Longbridge, Stoke Gifford and High Wycombe currently on site.
