Scheme will include 665 flats
Galliford Try has picked up a £105m build-to-rent deal in the middle of Leeds.
The firm, which is due to unveil its full year results in the middle of next month, said the work for Highline Investments will involve putting up five blocks of between 12 and 22 storeys at a former steelworks site.
The scheme (pictured), off the Whitehall Road, will run to 665 homes and be built next to door to the Leeds-Liverpool canal.
Existing railway arches at the site will be revamped and turned into retail and hospitality space
