Firm announces clutch of wins across London and the South East
Contractor Galliford Try has announced a clutch of wins totalling over £60m.
The firm has been appointed by developer Muse to build the second phase of its Chatham Place regeneration scheme in Reading.
The job is worth £24m and will entail the firm building two separate apartment blocks containing 184 homes, with retail space on the ground floor.
The firm has also been appointed by LHA London to build a new hostel in Torquay Street in London. The £13m project will create 158 micro-flats with communal facilities for young people and students.
Galliford Try has also been chosen to build a scheme with 24,500ft2 of office space for Lothbury Investment Management at 55 St James Street in London. The scheme will also include a basement and residential accommodation o the sixth floor. Once it is completed in 2015.
Lastly, the firm has reached financial close with the English Cities Fund on a deal for the £13.5m E3 Salford regeneration project. The development will create 97 homes for private sale and further retail units.
