Joint venture wins extension to outsourcing deal for Salford City Council
A Galliford Try and Capita joint venture has won a three-year extension to an outsourcing deal for Salford City Council, worth up to £90m.
The joint venture, Urban Vision, was formed in 2005 to provide services for the counil including property, regulatory planning, engineering infrastructure, and design and highway operations planning.
The secured extension is worth around £30m to Galliford Try. Galliford Try’s role in the partnership is to provide highways maintenance services. The framework has now been extended to its full 15-year term which will run until 2020.
