Galliford poaches Dev Secs FD

Housebuilder and contractor Galliford Try has poached Development Securities’ finance director Graham Prothero to be its new group FD.

Galliford Try’s existing finance director Frank Nelson will retire in September, but it is not yet known exactly when Prothero, who is on a year’s notice at Dev Secs, will join.

Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive, Galliford Try said: “Graham has considerable financial experience in the property and housebuilding sectors and accordingly he will be a valuable asset to the Group as we continue to further develop the business.”
