Contractor to improve largest waste water facility in Europe
Contractor Galliford Try, has won a £60m job to upgrade waste water treatment works in Beckton, east London.
Working with Biwater and Mott MacDonald, it says the work, to the largest sewage treatment works in Europe, will reduce odours from the plant by 70%. It is in addition to £280m of work already secured by the group under the AMP5 framework.
