Haringey council unveils plans for 1,200 new homes, a park and public space next to Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium development
Plans for 1,200 new homes as well as a new public square and amphitheatre next to Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium development have been unveiled by Haringey council.
The masterplan for the High Road West area - developed by Arup and now out for consultation - includes 1,200 homes as well as 5,000 square metres of open public space, with an amphitheatre for community events and a new library and enterprise centre, surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants.
The plans also include a new park, with children’s play space, and a free-to-use outdoor gym, as well as purpose-built modern industrial units for start-up businesses and improvements to White Hart Lane Station.
The consultation closes on 25 October.
The council said if the plans are approved it will seek to appoint a development partner next year.
