First stage of tendering cuts down delivery partner hopefuls
Four organisations have been shortlisted for the second stage of the tendering process to appoint a Crossrail project delivery partner.
The list of four are: Bechtel; Laing O'Rourke Holdings; a joint venture between Capita Symonds and Northcroft; and Legacy 3, a collective venture between Parsons Brinckerhoff, Balfour Beatty Management and Davis Langdon Programme Management. Tenders will be returned on 30 January and the appointment is expected to be announced in the spring.
Crossrail head of procurement Steve Rowsell said: “The evaluation of tenders for stage one of the project delivery partner procurement is complete. Each of the organisations invited to go forward for the second stage brings considerable experience and expertise of delivering complex construction projects.”
