John Frankiewicz joins the M&E contractor as a non-executive director
Specialist M&E contractor Briggs and Forrester has appointed John Frankiewicz to its board as a non-executive director.
Frankiewicz (pictured) joins the contractor after spending 28 years at Willmott Dixon, where he was the divisional chief executive of the firm’s capital works division.
He stepped down from the role in December last year and had planned to take a year out of the industry, but has decided to return early at Briggs and Forrester.
He replaces Brian Richardson at the firm, who has retired after spending 16 years on the board of directors.
Frankiewicz plans to return to Willmott Dixon in a similar non-executive director role next year.
Briggs & Forrester Group Chairman Mike Stanton said: “We are delighted to welcome John to the Briggs & Forrester team.
“He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that has seen him lead a successful business that grew to £1 billion in turnover.
“He is a highly influential voice on national construction issues and as an advocate for change and growth in business will play a key role in the future growth of our company.”
