The chairperson of English Partnerships will start her role at Serco on October 29
Baroness Ford has been appointed senior independent director of the Serco Group.
Ford, who is also chairperson of English Partnerships, will start her new role at the consulting giant from 29 October. She is already a non-executive director at the firm.
She will replace noted economist Dr DeAnne Julius, who retires from her joint position of senior independent director and non-executive director.
English Partnerships and the Housing Corporation are set to merge to form a New Homes Agency during the next parliamentary year, as the government’s focus moves to delivering the next generation of new homes.
