Negotiations are ongoing between director general Richard Diment and trade body

The director general of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) Richard Diment is “on leave” after questions were raised about his performance as leader of the trade body.

A source close to the situation said negotiations were ongoing between Diment and the FMB about his future at the organisation but was unable to confirm the exact nature of the dispute.

A spokesperson for the FMB confirmed Diment was on leave but declined to comment on the reasons. Diment also declined to comment.
