Flexible waterproofing systems

Alumasc Waterproofing provided the roofing solution for the newly extended Ashfield House in Leicestershire, headquarters of pharmaceutical outsourcing company Ashfield In2Focus.

Alumasc’s Hydrotech structural waterproofing, Derbigum bituminous membranes and a ZinCo extensive green roof were specified for three separate roof areas: a car stacking system, a first-floor extension and a new-build rooftop pavilion. The Hydrotech hot-melt system was installed on the inverted roof of the first-floor extension; the rooftop pavilion combined both Hydrotech and Derbigum membranes; and a ZinCo green roof was installed over Hydrotech
to the roof of the steel car stacking units. The company says its systems were chosen because of their flexibility.
