Building Design Partnership, David Chipperfield Architects, Dixon Jones, Herzog & de Meuron, and Hopkins Architects have been shortlisted to develop a £200m masterplan for Lord’s cricket ground.
The selection advisory panel will be headed by Sir John Egan, author of the Egan report, former chief executive of BAA and a member of the MCC, which will be the client for the job.
Lord’s has a history of commissioning challenging architecture, from the media centre designed by Future Systems to the Mound Stand designed by Hopkins.
