The 1.5-acre site, a former Territorial Army Centre, is situated near three tube stations
Developer First Base has bought a site in London for a 150-home scheme on a 1.5-acre site.
The development, on the site of a former Territorial Army Centre, will feature a landscaped garden and courtyard.
The company has submitted site plans, developed with architect Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, to Islington council.
First Base previously worked with AlHMM on the company’s Adelaide Wharf development (pictured).
Situated near Angel, the Islington scheme is being delivered in partnership with a fund advised by JPMorgan Asset Management.
Elliot Lipton, Managing Director, First Base, says: “The site is perfectly positioned in a sought after area of London.
“Our plans will provide new homes for Islington, and inspirational design that complements the surrounding architecture and character of the area. All our developments across London follow this same ethos – exemplary design in great locations, driven by the needs of Londoners.”
