Eurobond’s facade system provides fire resistance for two hours

Eurobond and Telling Architectural have launched a terracotta architectural facade system called Rainspan ArGeTon. This comprises interlocking, insulated panels with non-combustible stone wool cores, which Eurobond claims provide fire resistance for two hours. It has a module width of 1,200mm.

The panels come in 17 different colours and a variety of finishes. The company adds that the system is easy to install and has passed Centre for Window and Cladding Technology standards and the BS 476: Part 22 fire resistance test. The Rainspan System provides U-values of 0.23W/m2k. Eurobond says the rear air-sealed panel system offers an air permeability of less than 1m3/hr/m2.
