Willmott Dixon has been appointed to build this £20m academy in Tipton, West Midlands.

The school, designed by John McAslan + Partners, is to be sponsored by the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA). The school will specialise in health and citizenship. Work on the scheme is expected to start in January and be completed in time for the start of the school year in 2010. Davis Langdon is the QS, Arup is structural and M&E engineer and Schal is project manager.
