The finance director of support services and construction firm Interserve has resigned to take a similar role at restaurant and pub group Mitchells & Butler
Tim Jones, who is on a 12-month notice period, will stay at Interserve for an “appropriate period” to smooth the transition.
Meanwhile a statement from electrical contractor T Clarke on Tuesday said it was parting company with Victoria French, its finance director, by mutual consent.
The exits follow the high-profile departure of Iain Ferguson from the finance director role at Laing O’Rourke in March.
Meanwhile, Bovis Homes’ search for a finance director is continuing, despite suggestions one would be in place by its annual meeting on 6 May.
Chatham house rules
Phase one of Cartwright Pickard Architects’ Chatham Place has opened in Reading. The 211-unit residential development forms part of its £250m local regeneration masterplan. The scheme has three blocks clad in silver anodised aluminium, a courtyard, a public car park and a pedestrianised street. The project eam included contractors Leadbitter and Ardmore, QS Faithful+Gould and M&E and structural consultant Buro Happold.
