Carillion, Wates and Bridgford will fight it out for Best Contractor's QS at next month's awards

The final shortlists for the 2008 QS Awards have been revealed. Carillion Construction appears on two of the four shortlists: Best Training Initiative and Best Contractor's QS Team.

Carillion is up against Bridgford Interiors and Wates Group in the Best Contractor's QS category, while Best Project/Programme Management Team will be contested between AA Projects, DBK Group, Cyril Sweett Group and LogiKal.

The final category announced today is Best Innovation, which features Chandler KBS, Baqus, Davis Langdon and Turner & Townsend.

QS Champion of the Year will be announced on the night of the awards, which will take place on 28 November at the Brewery in London.
