Consultant manages scheme and acts as QS, employer’s agent and CDM co-ordinator
Consultant Faithful+Gould has completed the Pilgrim Hospital project in Boston as part of a multi-million pound regeneration of key worker accommodation.
The £22m project has replaced existing employee accommodation at Lincoln County Hospital, Grantham and District Hospital, County Hospital Louth and Pilgrim Hospital and has been developed by Progress Care Housing Association and the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
F+G’s Leeds office advised as project consultant to Progress Care Housing Association. It also acted as employer agent, QS and CDM co-ordinator.
The development has provided 303 new build units at Boston as well as 111 new and 109 refurbished units at Lincoln, 46 new and 4 refurbished units at Grantham and 17 refurbished units, including four family homes, at Louth.
Frank Cawkwell, QS at F+G, said: “The development of the hospital accommodation will contribute to the United Lincolnshire Hospital’s continuing success, which in turn will benefit the community by attracting and retaining talent to the local health service.”
The accommodation provides much-needed high-quality affordable homes for hospital staff.
They can also be rented out to other tenants when not needed by the trust.
