Consultant raises funds for Willow Trust over local real ale and pub-style quiz
Consultant Faithful+Gould celebrated the best of Bristol at a charity quiz and real ale evening.
Over 100 clients, staff and construction professionals gathered at the University and Literary Club in Bristol to sample a range of real ales from local breweries and take part in a pub-style quiz based on the last 60 years of the city's history.
The annual event, now in its fourth year, raised £1,000 for the Willow Trust. The charity provides boat trips and days outs for disabled and seriously ill children and adults on the Sharpness Canal.
Chris Rogers, a Bristol regional director and the event organiser, said: “We aim to offer something different, and focus on a fresh theme each year.
“It made sense to organise a Bristol themed event, having recently celebrated our Diamond Jubilee here.”
A total of over £3000 has been raised by the event in recent years for charities such as St Peter’s Hospice, the Babe Appeal and the Disasters Emergency Committee following the Asian tsunami disaster.
